Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026

The short version

D4D does not collect, store or share any of your data. Everything the app shows is read on your device and stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers. The only exception is optional: Weather and Time to Leave ask Apple for the forecast and travel times, described below.

What D4D reads, and why

D4D only asks for a permission when you choose to turn on that feature, and you can change it at any time in Settings.

Where your data is kept

To display your widgets, D4D keeps a small copy of today's events, reminders, health totals, your settings and, if you use Weather or Time to Leave, your last known location, the latest weather and the next travel time, in a private storage area on your device that only the D4D app and its widgets can open. Deleting the app deletes this copy.

Health data

Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never shared with anyone, and never stored in iCloud by D4D.

Third parties

D4D contains no third-party code, software development kits, trackers or analytics.

When you search for a city to add as a world clock, the text you type is sent to Apple Maps to find the city and its time zone, as with any Apple Maps search. It isn't linked to your calendars, reminders or health data, and nothing else is sent.

If you turn on Weather, your location is sent to Apple Weather (WeatherKit) to get the forecast. If you turn on Time to Leave, your location and the location of your next event are sent to Apple Maps to get the travel time. Apple handles this data under the Apple Privacy Policy. D4D sends nothing else, and nothing is sent to D4D or any other company. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather.

Children

D4D does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
